Ruwad Al Himam operates as a platform for independent sellers of products and services. This Return and Refund Policy governs all purchases made through the Website. Because transactions occur directly between buyers and independent sellers, the platform maintains strict guidelines to protect seller operations.
All product sales on the Website are final. Sellers do not accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests for a change of mind, buyer error, mistaken purchases, or subjective dissatisfaction with product appearance or performance.
Buyers must inspect all items immediately upon delivery. Claims for products that arrive damaged, defective, or completely non-compliant with the listing description are subject to the following rules:
The buyer must submit a formal claim to the platform within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after 24 hours are invalid.
The buyer must provide clear visual proof, including an uninterrupted unboxing video and high-resolution photographs, showing the defect or damage before opening the product seal.
Normal wear and tear, minor packaging damage during transit, or misuse after delivery do not qualify for a return or replacement.
In the rare event that a seller or the platform approves a return, the item must meet these criteria:
The product is in its original, unopened, unalterable condition with all tags, seals, documentation, and packaging intact.
The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying all return shipping fees to the seller's designated location. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
A restocking fee of 20% of the total purchase price applies to all approved returns. The platform deducts this fee from the final store credit.
Services, freelance tasks, consultations, and digital products are completely non-refundable. Once a buyer places an order for a service, or once the seller initiates work on the project, the buyer is obligated to pay the full agreed amount. Disputes regarding service quality are subject to the 3 day verification window outlined in the Terms and Conditions.
Approved refunds are issued exclusively as platform store credit or wallet balance on the Website. Reversals to original credit cards, bank accounts, or cash payouts are not available under any circumstances. Platform credit is non-transferable and expires 12 months from the date of issue.
